Twin Coast Announces CellGage Optical Honeycomb Measurement System

Honeycomb is measured accurately, quickly, and completely using Twin Coast Metrology's CellGage CG-1 optical honeycomb measurement system. This hardware and software solution measures the full surface contour of sculpted honeycomb core. CellGage's non-contact approach represents an exciting step forward for honeycomb inspection, validation, and process control.

All CellGage systems offer:
* Complete surface measurement, allowing knowledge of voids, low-fill, and failure areas
* Verifiable accuracy of +/-0.0015", +/-2 sigma
* Direct surface measurement does not require compensation for probe diameters
* Large field of view of 24" x 18" enables rapid data collection, even on large surfaces
* Non-contact measurement does not deform the material
* Optional mounting on honeycomb sculpting and routing machines for rapid in-process inspection
* Optional mounting on external camera stands/tripods frees up the cutting machine to cut more material
